After using Preimma for a month, I really don't crave sweets anymore. Giving up coffee is also quite easy, although I used to drink several cups a day. Consequently improved face/neck skin - much healthier and fresher!

Iegādājos probiotiķus, lietoju 2 dienu
Perfekti!
Man tas pagaidām nestrādā. Bet turpināšu lietot kaut vai ādas dēļ!
What is the microbiome - and why is there so much talk about it?
In recent years, the gut microbiome has been one of the most researched topics in medicine and nutrition. Scientists are increasingly analyzing how gut microorganisms interact with the human body.
Trillions of microorganisms – bacteria, fungi, and other microbes – live in the gut. This collection of living organisms is called the gut microbiota, while the entire system and environment as a whole is called the microbiome. It is an integral foundation for our health and digestive system.
Interesting fact: Approximately 70% of immune system cells are located in the gut. Therefore, the gut is considered one of the most important defense centers of the body.
The microbiota is involved in:
- nutrient processing;
- metabolic processes;
- the interaction between immunity and the environment.
Its composition is significantly influenced by our dietary habits – especially the amount of fiber in our diet.
What is the role of fiber?
We cannot digest all nutrients ourselves. Some fiber reaches the large intestine intact, where it serves as a valuable food source for beneficial bacteria.
- If there is little fiber in the diet, gut bacteria lack food.
- If there is sufficient fiber, beneficial bacteria receive the necessary energy to multiply and maintain a healthy microbiome balance.
What are prebiotics and how do they differ from probiotics?
When talking about gut health, we often hear two similar words that are important to distinguish:
- Probiotics are the live bacteria themselves (for example, those found in dietary supplement capsules or fermented products). Taking them is like trying to plant new plants from a different environment in your "inner garden."
- Prebiotics are the food or valuable fertilizer for these bacteria. They are special, indigestible fibers that nourish your own beneficial bacteria.
Prebiotics do not attempt to introduce "foreign" bacteria into the body but rather empower your unique microbiome to regenerate and strengthen naturally.
How is this related to Preimmu® Biotic?
Preimmu® Biotic contains galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) – special, water-soluble fibers or prebiotics.
GOS action:
- not digested in the stomach or small intestine;
- reach the large intestine intact;
- serve as a targeted food source specifically for beneficial bacteria, including Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species.
Preimmu® Biotic does not contain bacteria themselves (probiotics). It acts as a food source for your "inner garden" – providing valuable fibers that your unique microbiota can feed on and naturally multiply as part of a balanced diet.
